With the current environment and situation we face, the smart advice is for us to isolate and distance ourselves from others. This is to help prevent the spread of Covid-19, more so than it already has. Although I am very thankful, I can’t help but think how much staying in this Villa would improve my current situation.
In the video linked above, Dezeen showcases this beautiful villa that’s located Turkey. Situated along the coast of Aegean Sea, this beautiful property boasts incredible views. The huge windows help let in an immense amount of light into the property. You can see just how that impacts the look and feel of each room.
The huge undulating roof is another key feature of this property. It’s also the first thing that most people will probably notice. From a design standpoint, it truly is beautiful.
As far as I can see, there hasn’t been any mention of sustainability or green energy features. Although we can’t assume this hasn’t been considered, it would have been interesting to see how and what things had been implemented.
Nonetheless, this is a brilliant project designed by Foster + Partners. One that I find not only inspiring but, also makes me ever so slightly jealous.
